• Reviewed our standards to remove barriers to registration, including additional guidance on reasonable adjustments that can be made to the assessments while maintaining standards.
• We introduced the option of video nominations for SocEnv Awards.
• We marked more religious holidays in our social media activity.
• We created a sign language video to showcase environmental signs.
• We introduced a new requirement for Licensed Members to provide evidence of an EDI policy that applies to SocEnv registrants.

This is something we are working on, but the introduction of a new requirement for Licensed Members to provide evidence of an EDI policy that applies to SocEnv registrants is a good step forwards.

A continued, company wide awareness of our ability to have a positive impact for EDI at all times.

1. To ensure our commitment to the DSI is continued following the departure of our DSI lead. To have a new DSI lead in place by the end of 2025.
2. To ensure EDI is a feature of our new strategy to be launched in April 2025.
3. To monitor the implementation of changes made to practice directions through periodic licence reviews (an ongoing action).

Reporting to our Board and working alongside the DSI.
