Volunteering changes the workplace as we know it
Laura Matz, DSI Support Volunteer since 2021
Laura is a B Corp & Sustainability Consultant and Founder at Commonplace. When not volunteering for the Diverse Sustainability Initiative (DSI), Laura is helping companies shape their impact strategies, get B Corp certified, write their impact reports and implement new strategies. Commonplace is based in Manchester with collaborators around the UK, they help companies as an extension to their sustainability team by upskilling, supporting and guiding individuals.
Laura has supported the DSI by dedicating time to support with website developments, creating the resources page, writing blog posts and gathering handy resources, recruiting speakers for events and more!

Josephine Billany, DSI Support Volunteer
Josephine is a sustainability consultant at Junxion Strategy. She has particular expertise in supporting businesses through B Corp Certification and in writing their sustainability reports. She also supports companies with the development of sustainability strategies and with implementing them. At Junxion, she is very involved in their approach to diversity, equity and inclusion; she led the development of their justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) commitment statement. Jo is also trained as a Climate Fresk facilitator, an inclusive workshop designed to help people understand the causes of climate change in order to take action and build solutions in their day-to-day lives or their businesses. Josephine is excited to contribute to the Diverse Sustainability Initiative and ISEP community, helping to create a more inclusive and equitable sustainability profession.

Daniel Osunbor, DSI Support Volunteer
Daniel Osunbor is an environmental professional with a strong background in environmental compliance, sustainability, and regulatory enforcement. He holds an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen and a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Benin. Daniel has experience across the public and private sectors, including work with the Environmental Protection Agency and environmental consultancy firms. His expertise spans air quality monitoring, environmental impact assessments, and data-driven sustainability reporting. He has collaborated on projects with international organisations such as the World Bank Group and currently works as a Research Assistant at IDFON Consultants, supporting environmental policy research and stakeholder engagement. A Graduate Member of IEMA, Daniel is passionate about driving sustainable practices, promoting environmental awareness, and contributing to the global effort against climate change. He is committed to professional development and enjoys using his skills to support both community initiatives and environmental innovation.
