Are you passionate about Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) topics within the environment and sustainability sector? The Diverse Sustainability Initiative (DSI) is a collaborative programme of work with the vision to transform diversity within the sustainability profession.
IEMA’s (Institute of Environment Management and Assessment) Diverse Sustainability Initiative (DSI) is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our group of volunteers.
Location: Virtual (with optional in-person events, travel expenses covered)
Salary: Unpaid volunteer opportunity
Duration: Up to 3 years
Hours: 2 hours per month
Start Date: From August

Laura Matz, DSI Volunteer since 2021
Laura is an Impact Director and Co-Owner at sustainable impact agency betternotstop. When not volunteering for the Diverse Sustainability Initiative (DSI), Laura is helping companies shape their impact strategies, get B Corp certified, write their impact reports and implement new strategies. betternotstop is based in Manchester and is working alongside Better Business Network to support companies, and festivals, become more sustainable.
Laura has supported the DSI by dedicating time to support with website developments, creating the resources page, managing the LinkedIn page, recruiting speakers for events and many more!
