• We now have a fully embedded Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan and a specific Race Equity Action Plan.
• We have introduced 8 peer-support staff networks and supported our staff network leads through leadership development training.
• We have improved the inclusivity of our recruitment processes by reviewing every stage and trialling interventions.
• We have improved the data we hold about our workforce to support us with more detailed analysis.
• We have supported seven young people through work placements and apprenticeships.
• We have worked with numerous diverse community groups to increase their access to our estate.

We are working with diverse community organisations to address tree inequity in urban environments and are building relationships in this area to expand this.

We publish an annual Diversity and Inclusion report internally which outlines all of the actions we have taken to advance diversity and inclusion. The 2025 report included 36 pages of actions completed including case studies from our estate.

1. Appoint a race equity working group to deliver our Race Equity Action Plan and build foundations for future action.
2. Explore the introduction of a staff network sponsor who provides leadership to all networks.
3. Issue a report on the ethnic diversity of our volunteers to create a baseline for further actions.

• We regularly report statistics to our Executive Leadership Team and Board including our diversity and inclusion KPIs.
• We publish an annual internal diversity and inclusion report to measure our progress.
• We also participate in the RACE Report which holds us accountable to our progress in comparison to others in the sector.
